Greencastle, Ind. - Marisa L. Mokodean, a junior Media Fellow at DePauw University, is among fifteen students from fourteen different campuses who have been awarded scholarships in the Broadcast Education Association’s 2007-08 competition. Mokodean — who is a communication major and serves as promotions director at student radio station WGRE — is the recipient of the Alexander Tanger Scholarship.
Broadcast Education Association scholarships are awarded to outstanding students for study on campuses that are institutional members of the organization. A listing of the winners can be found by clicking here.
This marks the fifth time a DePauw student has won a prestigious BEA scholarship. Previous recipients are:
