VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Dynasty Metals & Mining Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DMM) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the hiring of Pippa Jeffcock BA MSc MBA FGS, as the Company’s new exploration manager, and Carlos Muirragui, as the Company’s business development manager in Ecuador.
Pippa Jeffcock
Ms. Jeffcock lived in Ecuador for eight years, during which time she discovered and operated a producing gold mine. As a director of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Mines, she chaired a committee responsible for drafting changes to the then mining laws. After leaving Ecuador, Ms. Jeffcock worked for Peter Hambro Mining for three years. Upon completing an MBA, she worked for six years as an independent consultant to mining companies in Angola and Sierra Leone and wrote mining company research for brokers in London, England. For the past 15 months, Ms. Jeffcock has been a mining research analyst with Ocean Equities of London.
Carlos Muirragui
Mr. Muirragui is a former senior member of the Ecuadorian government, where he held a number of positions, including Vice Minister of Mines, Under Secretary of Hydrocarbons, and Under Secretary of Environmental Protection. On various occasions he was the acting Minister of Energy and Mines. He has extensive knowledge of operations within these ministries. Mr. Muirragui is a geologist and a civil engineer.
