LONDON (AFX) - Central African Mining & Exploration Co PLC said it has identified multiple quality copper cobalt geophysical targets in the Katanga Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) after an extensive airborne geophysical survey.

Men face a struggle for good jobs in future as growing numbers of teenage boys shun university, government officials warned today.

Ministers are becoming increasingly concerned at the widening gender gap in higher education, after 22,500 more young women than men won university places last year.

University of Virginia Vice President and Chief Student Affairs Officer Patricia Lampkin has encouraged all U.Va. students to take proper precautions in the wake of reports of two sexual attacks against female U.Va. students early Monday (Jan. 29) morning.

BALTIMORE (AP) - A former university professor accused of working as a call girl hanged herself over the weekend, police said Monday.

Brandy Britton, 43, was found dead at her home Saturday by a family member.

Britton, who was a sociology and anthropology professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, was charged a year ago with four counts of prostitution and was scheduled to go on trial next Monday. » Read more after the jump →

The Warren Alpert Foundation is donating 100 million dollars so Brown can enlarge its medical program.
