Beaver Creek Fine Art Gallery hosts contemporary impressionistic artists Robert Hagan and his son Graeme Hagan Saturday and Sunday.
Hailing from Australia, Robert has painted professionally for 19 years, had 12 one-man exhibitions, and as an aside, won the Australian Derby with his champion horse, Research. He is currently filming his TV series “A Splash of Color.” In the United States, Robert’s paintings have been featured in International Fine Art Collector and he was awarded the America’s Cup International Artist Medal 1995.
Robert’s son Graeme is following in his father’s footsteps and started painting in The Southport School, Queensland, Australia. His early talent for painting was recognized when he was awarded a scholarship for art in his final year of school in 2005.
Both artists will be on hand Saturday and Sunday from 2-8 p.m. They are located in the lower level of the St. James Place in Beaver Creek. Call 845-8500 for more information.
