The Sisseton Wahpeton College in Sisseton, South Dakota, will host the 2008 Citi Scholars Career Expo May 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sisseton Wahpeton College Log Cabin. The program will expose the student body and community to post-associate’s degree education opportunities and career opportunities with major local tribal employers.

The program starts at 10 a.m. with a prayer. The program will include presentations by Jerry Nachtigal of Citigroup; Ashley Renville, vice president of the student body and an American Indian College Fund scholarship recipient; Harvey Dumarce, president of academic affairs; and a representative of the American Indian College Fund. Katherine Akipa, an instructor at Sisseton Wahpeton College , will deliver the keynote motivational speech.
