BELFAST - There are many English courses to choose from this summer at The University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast. From ENG 101, college composition, to ENG 435, The Bible and Near Eastern Literature there is an English class to suit all needs and interests.
Trying to fulfill some General Education (Gen Eds) requirements for your degree? There are nine University of Maine English courses offered this summer that can help you do that; many are online, to accommodate a busy schedule. Or, you could take ENG 205, Creative Writing, live at The Hutchinson Center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 to 7:30 pm, June 2nd through July 11th.
College Composition, ENG 101, is also offered live at The Hutchinson Center on Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:30 PM, June 2nd through July 11th. This course is required by most programs for completion of degree requirements. Since this is a course required by most colleges, students who will be studying away in the Fall can possibly get a head start on their course work!
